Find the responsible
When you press 'search', you will automatically be redirected to the online application DogID.
Remark: the search is restricted to 2 enquiries per session.
Important: The responsible of the dog himself has to check the correctness of his personal data in the Dog's Register and has to report all changes and eventual correction.
The responsible of a dog can only be found if you have the dog's full identification number. This identification number consists of either a microchip or a tattoo.
With the search of a tattoo, it may be necessary to enter the letter 'O' or the figure '0'.
* The search result "Exported" means that the dog has been sold or has moved outside the Belgian territory. No definitive certificate, with the labels to be stuck in the passport, is mailed to the responsibles of these dogs, living abroad. The responsibles of these dogs need to register their dogs in their country of residence. For further research, Europetnet (www.europetnet.com) can be consulted. DogID doesn’t have any further information.
